At VERDIN – we were very happy and excited to learn of the USCIS Venezuela TPS announcement by Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro N. Mayorkas on March 8, 2021.
Venezuelans now resident in the US can apply for
TPS (Temporary Protected Status) through September 5, 2021.

If TPS status is granted, the USCIS will issue a work permit and protection lasting for 18 months.
It is very important for interested Venezuelan residents to apply as soon as possible. No applications for Venezuelan Temporary Protected Status will be accepted after September 5, 2021.

Venezuela TPS Announcement March 8, 2021
WASHINGTON—Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro N. Mayorkas is designating Venezuela for Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for 18 months, until September 2022. This new designation of TPS for Venezuela enables Venezuelan nationals (and individuals without nationality who last resided in Venezuela) currently residing in the United States to file initial applications for TPS, so long as they meet eligibility requirements.
