U.S. Business Environment for E-2 Visas 2018

Three main factors are working in 2018 to create the current favorable E-2 Visa environment.
Texas, as a state of destination, has long been a favorite for foreign entrepreneurs. In 2018, Texas will likely increase in appeal for E2 Visa businesses.
U.S. Consumer Confidence Strong
According to Forbes Magazine on 2018 Consumer Confidence: “January Consumer Confidence, continuing the positive momentum from last month, has hit a record high 59.5%, up 4 points from December and 7 points up from last January.”
In January 2018, U.S. consumer confidence was stronger than expected in January and hovering near a 17-year high as households grew somewhat more upbeat about employment and the economy.
An unemployment rate hovering near a 17-year low, modest inflation that props up purchasing power, and a sturdy economic growth and elevated stocks are keeping people optimistic. Upbeat consumers will probably help underpin household spending, which advanced in the fourth quarter 2017 at the fastest pace since the three months ended June 2016.
Tax Reform
The U.S. Congress has finally rallied behind an issue that created unity – and that issue is tax reform. This initiative will make the U.S. a more competitive market to attract foreign companies and entrepreneurs to a business friendly jurisdiction. Foreign companies will now be more willing to invest capital and launch operations in the U.S. This renewed activity will further help the U.S. economy grow.
Real Estate Opportunities Still Growing
With interest rates at historical lows and demand outpacing housing supply, the real estate market will remain a hot industry in 2018. Especially strong growth will be Southern cities in the U.S.
According to Realtor.com, These Real Estate Trends Will Be Game-Changers in 2018, southern cities like Dallas are expected to see a 6% growth.

Texas to Maintain its Strong Appeal for Foreign Entrepreneurs
Hurricane Harvey Houston Sept 2017
Texas, as a state of destination, has long been a favorite for foreign entrepreneurs. Texas has proximity to the largest citizen group to seek E2 visas, Mexican entrepreneurs.
In 2018, Texas will likely increase in appeal for E2 foreign entrepreneurs across all countries.
For example, in Texas there is an immense demand for construction opportunities after Hurricane Harvey pounded the Houston area 2017. The opportunities are especially attractive given the high demand for rebuilding projects, which are still in process.
And, the real estate market in Texas continues to boom. The Dallas Fort Worth area is expected to be one of the hottest home markets in the U.S. in 2018. With a 6% existing home sales growth predicted in Dallas, this is twice the national growth rate for real estate sales and prices, according to MarketWatch.
Both of these dynamics reinforce the trend that Texas will maintain its place as a top destination for an E2 visas in 2018.
